One thing every household, apartment, domicile, bat cave needs is a message center to keep all of your to-do lists, etc in check. I know, I know…you are thinking “Erin, why would Bruce Wayne need a message board? He’s got Alfred and a super computer.” But trust me, Batman needs a message board and you are totally missing the point of this post. *SNAPS FINGERS* Focus please.

If you are like me, you need visual reminders in your face at all times. Yeah you paid for that fancy app off of iTunes that is supposed to act as your virtual assistant. But how many of you actually need reminders to set reminders?? …I thought so. So here is a quick and easy way to create message boards of different styles for you every day messaging/reminder needs.

Things you need:

Chalkboard message board:

  • Picture frame
  • Chalkboard paint
  • Chalk

Corkboard message board:

  • Picture frame
  • Roll of cork
  • Push pins

Dry erase message board:

  • Picture frame
  • Dry erase markers
  • Light colored, preferably, solid paper
