Nice! Urbanknit

I recently stumbled across the beautiful work of Dolobo James of Urbanknit. She is a maker of handmade wearables and home décor products. Featuring beautiful fabrics from West Africa including Nigeria and Ghana in classic shapes, Urbanknit items offer the wearer a sense of individuality. Hope you love these as much as I do.

What We Are Up To! Atlanta Jazz Festival

Side of the street find…

What makes me happy is stuff like this. I couldn’t believe my luck when I happened upon this desk. Just put out by one of my neighbors, tt may not look like much now, but it is gorgeous! It’s solid wood, sturdy, in good shape and best of all will fit perfectly in my boys’ room.

After I got it home and wiped it down, I was quite pleased. The drawers need a little repair work, but overall it is in great shape!

I am not sure exactly what I am going to do with it but I know I want to paint it blue. I found a few refinished desks that I love on Pinterest.

Cute indigo desk redo

Love the vintage feel of this desk from Number Fifty Three

This is the color that I want – and the weathered feel! Knack Studio

I plan on painting me new desk in a few weeks! What do you think I should do with it?
